~ Caitlyn M.

"Working with Laura...has been an amazing experience. From the very beginning, the Laura took time to understand Ariana’s learning style and adapted lessons to fit her needs. There was a strong emphasis on communication, patience, and creating a sense of accomplishment after every lesson. Ariana's confidence grew steadily as she learned the basics..."

~ Sara P.

"Mrs. Laura is an exceptional teacher who genuinely cares about her students' progress. Her lessons are insightful and motivating. The environment is supportive, and the practice facilities are top-notch. My daughter Hannah gained a lot of confidence."

~ Reshma J.

"My daughter’s instructor, Laura, has been phenomenal. Teaching anything to children this age is an exercise in testing’s one’s patience. Kids have short attention spans. They tend to get sidetracked. It makes teaching much more than just driving home theory and mechanics; it’s also managing emotion, positive redirection, and employing exciting ‘outside the box’ strategies to make concepts memorable. Laura understands the assignment. She has been patient and attentive, gentle with redirection but also dedicated to keeping the lessons on track so as not to squander class time. Moreover, she understands that young students need learning to be fun."

Music Theatre Program Director Laura Cable

Laura Cable's Inspiring Impact on Music Education

Laura Cable is an accomplished performer and educator whose vibrant journey in musical theater and music education captivates students and audiences alike. A proud Arizona native from Tolleson, Laura’s passion for music ignited at the tender age of six, singing joyfully in her local church choir. Her talent quickly flourished, leading her to shine as a featured soloist in beloved musicals such as Aladdin Jr., Annie Jr., Seussical Jr., and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.

Laura’s rigorous musical education at the prestigious Arizona School for the Arts (ASA) refined her skills in classical piano, choral performance, music theory, and music history. As a distinguished soprano in ASA’s elite Concert and Chamber Choirs, Laura performed challenging classical masterpieces in multiple languages—including Latin, Spanish, French, Italian, and German—with notable highlights such as Vivaldi’s Gloria and Mozart’s Coronation Mass. Her choir's exceptional talents were showcased at NAU’s Jazz Madrigal Festival, where they earned the highest ranking of Supreme.

Laura continued her musical excellence at Arizona State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. Under the mentorship of distinguished voice instructor Carole Fitzpatrick, Laura hosted her own recitals, mesmerizing audiences with diverse pieces across genres and languages. As a member of the ASU Barrett Honor Choir and the acclaimed Sol Singers, she tackled complex masterpieces, including Beethoven’s monumental Ninth Symphony.

Today, Laura proudly performs with a community choir preparing for a prestigious performance at Carnegie Hall this May. With extensive experience teaching musical theater, piano, voice, and acting through dynamic summer camps, Laura Cable brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a deep passion for fostering musical talent. She is thrilled to inspire and nurture the next generation of performers at Music Lessons Arizona.
